Linda Wooten-Green has a masters in Art Education and did extensive graduate work at the universities of Nebraska, Minnesota, and Guadalahara. She taught art for many years and is now a studio artist working out of her studio in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries across the nation.

Ron Wooten-Green has a doctorate in political science, which he taught for 14 years at Penn State University. In his "second career" Ron spent 16 years as an adult religious educator for various dioceses in the west of the U.S., and as a hospice chaplain where he worked with nearly 1000 patients and their families. He wrote a book about that experience titled When the Dying Speak. Ron continues to write and teaches a summer class at Creighton University.

Clare Lynch, a native of Co. Cavan, now lives and writes in Co. Sligo, Ireland. Her work has won numerous awards and has been featured on RTE radio. As a regular contributor to Desert Call, Clare's stories, filled with wit and wisdom, have become favorites for many of our readers.

Loren Haury, a retired oceanograhper, now spends most of his time above water where he captures in images the beauty and wonder of the natural world. His photographs teach us to see with new eyes the loveliness of the world around us. He and his wife, Jan, who have been good friends of our community for many years, live in Sedona, Arizona.

Suzanne Frazier has a BA in philosophy and a BFA in Studio Arts. She has led many retreats integrating contemplation and the arts. She works and teaches out of her studio in Crestone, Colorado.

Bertha Gotterup lives, works, and teaches pottery in Crestone, Colorado. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums. Arguably Crestone's "most beloved citizen," Bertha's generosity and kindness have been a blessing to so many, including all of us at Nada, and especially those Nadans to whom she has taught the craft and love of pottery.
